General Purpose and Scope of Position: Provides tutoring assistance with Math, English, Science and other disciplines taught at Ivy Tech Community College. This is a temporary position (by semester). Major Responsibilities: Meet with students in individual, shared and group tutoring format to enhance, support, and clarify concepts discussed in class lectures, reading, and handouts, for the subject(s) for which you were hired Provide students guidance in the acquisition and application of study skills methods Serve as a link to other college resources Complete all paperwork and recordkeeping as requested by the supervisor (time cards, tutoring logs, evaluations, etc.).
