Reporting to the Principal Investigator, the part-time grant supported Grade Enhancement Mentor (GEM)/tutor position is responsible for providing workshops, small groups, and individual instruction, and working closely with the Department of Human and Life Sciences faculty to promote appropriate academic support. The Chemistry GEM must be able to provide support for students in all Chemistry courses. Essential Job Functions: Develop and conduct science and other appropriate workshops for students; develop instructional materials in science.
