Job is: Classified The primary goal of this position is to assist in teaching the necessary concepts to students in grades 9-12 within the designated subject matter. Our Ideal Candidate Will: Provide tutoring as scheduled, with an emphasis on fostering student confidence and curiosity Post and market availability of tutoring along with schedule Maintain a consistent schedule as arranged with their supervisor Instruct students in the Spanish Language within a small classroom environment and 1 on 1 situation. Meets with students to discuss areas of development and counsels students in the subject area of concern Monitors student performance in class work, attendance, and discipline as needed. Perform related duties as assigned. Mathnasium of Fresh Pond is looking for some exceptional math tutors to help our students learn math in a way that is fun and stimulating at our Learning Center in Belmont, MA, next to Cambridge. Mathnasium offers a rewarding, meaningful work experience where you leave every day knowing that you have helped to make a difference in children's lives. You will work with children of all ages and math levels, helping them either catch up, keep up, or get ahead. You must love working with kids of all ages, from 1st grade up through high school, and have exceptional math skills, including all high school math.
