Job Summary: Reporting to the Writing Center Director, Academic Success Peer Tutors will primarily work with students individually or in small groups to improve their study skills. The Tutor will be expected to facilitate daily operations of the Writing Center by creating a welcoming and professional environment and maintaining precise records. Academic Success Peer Tutors will help students in their specialty subject area to help students improve their academic study skills. What You'll Do As a Math Tutor, you'll create a fun, engaging learning environment, working with up to 4 students at a time in our after school tutoring program. Sylvan Learning is looking for ENTHUSIASTIC, HAPPY, FLEXIBLE TEAM PLAYERS, to help our middle and high school students with their homework and prep for college entrance exams. We are looking for teachers/tutors with expertise in math through calculus, high school study skills and/or SAT/ACT prep.
