Overview
Job Description
We are partnered with a well-established and reputable fire protection and life safety systems contractor who is actively seeking a dedicated Fire Sprinkler Technician to join their expanding team! This company values employee development and fosters a supportive, safety-first work culture.
Requirements:
- 2+ years’ experience installing, testing, and maintaining fire sprinkler systems
- Knowledge of fire sprinkler components, piping, and system testing procedures
- Understanding of NFPA codes and local fire protection standards
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- NICET preferred
- Ability to travel to job sites and work in various environments
Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, and service fire sprinkler systems in commercial and residential buildings
- Perform system testing and maintenance to ensure code compliance and proper operation
- Conduct field surveys and document findings accurately
- Collaborate with contractors, inspectors, and team members to coordinate work
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
