What You Will Do: Completes evaluations of assigned patients in accordance with the established standards and written timeframes of facility policy of care and practice. Teaches patients the skills and techniques required for participation in activities; and evaluates patients’ progress, attitudes, and behavior as relates to their rehabilitative potential. Adapts programs according to the needs and abilities of individual patients. Conducts training programs and participates in training medical and nursing personnel in occupational therapy techniques and objectives. Designs and fits adaptive devices such as splints and braces for patient use. Supervises the treatment activities of COTAs and aides. What You Will Need: Bachelor's or Master’s degree from a program accredited by the ACOTE. Licensure in the state of Ohio or license eligible. Registration nationally through the professional association (NBCOT). Previous clinical experience/rehabilitation experience preferred. Current CPR Certification.
