Ready to make a real impact? ProgressiveHealth is hiring PRN EMT-B, AEMT, or Paramedics to join our onsite health team at an H-E-B distribution facility in San Marcos, TX. This isn’t your average medic role, you’ll be part of a fast-moving team focused on emergency response, injury prevention, and keeping employees healthy and safe on the job. If you’re passionate about patient care and thrive in dynamic settings, we’d love to have you on board.

 

What will you be doing in this role?

  • Respond to emergency medical situations on-site according to established protocols
  • Provide injury care, medical triage, and escalation to higher-level care as needed
  • Conduct safety checks and report health and safety concerns to the Environment, Health, & Safety (EH&S) team
  • Maintain and inspect emergency medical equipment to ensure functionality and readiness
  • Perform drug screenings and other health surveillance procedures as required
  • Collaborate with medical and safety teams to support injury prevention and occupational health programs
  • Assist in documentation of medical care provided, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
  • Support clinical staff with follow-up care
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and the client about ongoing health initiatives and employee health updates
  • Maintain proper inventory of medical supplies and ensure all equipment is stocked and operational
  • Other duties, as assigned

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • The required state licensure, certification, and registration that is in good standing with the state or the ability to obtain the required state licensure prior to the start of employment
  • CPR/AED certification or the ability to obtain it prior to the start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s) prior to the start of employment
  • The ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout entire assigned shift
  • A high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication
  • The ability to work both independently and in a team environment, without constant supervision
  • Be able to maintain confidentiality
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
