We are seeking a seasoned Rehabilitation Service Sales Representative (in Addiction Therapy) to join our skilled nursing facility in Chardon, Ohio, as a pivotal member of our business development team. This role is focused exclusively on generating admissions, targeting a minimum of 15 admissions per month through strategic sales efforts and relationship-building. The ideal candidate is a highly experienced professional with a proven track record in healthcare sales, particularly within the skilled nursing or long-term care industry. Reporting directly to the Director of Business Development, the Sales Representative will work independently to drum up business, leveraging existing networks and forging new partnerships to drive consistent referral growth. Responsibilities Drive Admissions: Actively generate a minimum of 15 new admissions per month through targeted sales and outreach efforts, ensuring consistent growth in resident census. Build Referral Networks: Establish and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, physicians, discharge planners, case managers, and community organizations to secure a steady stream of referrals. Conduct Strategic Outreach: Execute proactive, field-based sales strategies, including in-person visits, cold calling, and warm lead follow-ups, to promote the facility's services and unique value proposition. Community Engagement: Represent the facility at community events, health fairs, and professional networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and trust. Track Performance: Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as referral conversion rates and admission numbers, using CRM tools to ensure accountability and goal attainment. Collaborate Internally: Work closely with the admissions team and clinical staff to ensure seamless transitions for new residents and alignment between sales efforts and facility capabilities. Maintain Compliance: Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations, including HIPAA, in all sales and outreach activities. Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the healthcare industry, with a strong preference for candidates with a proven track record in skilled nursing facilities, long-term care, or post-acute care settings. Proven Results: Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding admission targets, ideally with experience consistently generating 15+ admissions per month in a similar role. Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the skilled nursing industry, including referral dynamics, payer systems (Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance), and Ohio's healthcare landscape. Relationship-Building Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and networking abilities, with a history of cultivating lasting relationships with healthcare professionals and community stakeholders. Strategic Mindset: Ability to analyze market data, identify opportunities, and develop targeted sales plans to drive measurable results. Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate the facility's value proposition to diverse audiences. Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite for tracking leads and reporting performance. Travel and Flexibility: Willingness to travel within the Chardon, Ohio, region and surrounding areas for in-person outreach, with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
