Qualifications for COTAs: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) program. Current and valid New York State OTA License. Experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting is preferred, but not required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams. A compassionate and patient-centered approach to therapy and resident care.
