The PT/PTA will conduct evaluations and assessments to determine a child's level of function relative to age in such areas as fine/gross motor skill development, quality of motor integration, sensory modulation, self-care and activities of daily living. The PT/PTA will develop a treatment plan and monitor progress for each child on his/her caseload. The therapist is expected to maintain thorough, up-to-date treatment notes on each client, and develop appropriate home programs for clients when applicable.
