E S S E N T I A L F U N C T I O N S Reviews patients' medical record regarding history, diagnosis, and precautions prior to providing treatment for inpatients and/or outpatients to determine appropriate tools and equipment are available prior to any treatment session. Communicates and collaborates with the Physical Therapist(s) daily regarding patients and their treatments and care planning needs to maximize patient function and progress towards goals. Adheres to the patient plan of care as established by the Physical Therapist. Implements age appropriate therapies, functional activities, and programs per patient plan of care. Responsible for completing all daily documentation and billing procedures promptly and accurately. Other duties as assigned. E D U C A T I O N Graduation from an American Physical Therapy Association accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program required. E X P E R I E N C E Previous Physical Therapy Assistant experience in a hospital and/or outpatient clinic setting is preferred.   • Reviews patients' medical record regarding history, diagnosis, and precautions prior to providing treatment for inpatients and/or outpatients to determine appropriate tools and equipment are available prior to any treatment session.
