This entry-level Field Physical Therapist role focuses on building core clinical skills in a home health setting while gaining insight into company operations. Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements. Qualifications: Physical Therapy license is required. Job Description

The primary function of the Physical Therapist role is to provide Physical Therapy (PT) services for residents of Kendal-Crosslands Communities (KCC) as defined - by the Pennsylvania State Board of PT Licensure; Serves on committees as designated by the Director of Rehabilitation and Wellness and/or the Rehabilitation Services Manager. Actively participates in in-service training programs, both within the KCCcommunity and within professional programs outside of KCC; Maintains clinical medical record documentation to meet all Federal and State requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program and licensed to practice in Pennsylvania.
  • A minimum of two years’ experience working with adult population preferred.  
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license in state of residence.
  • Must be insurable by the Kendal-Crosslands Communities professional liability insurance. 

Physical Demands:

  • Walking, standing, and bending most of the day. 
  • Able to push, pull, lift, and transfer residents weighing up to 250 poundsincluding wheelchair transport on indoor and outdoor surfaces.
