Documentation and Billing: Prepares reports for physicians; processes and distributes reports to proper physicians. Maintain a clean and safe environment: Ensure that all stocking, cleaning equipment, and respiratory equipment is maintained in good working order, and follow infection control and safety protocols. Emergency support: Assist in emergency situations, such as performing CPR. Other duties as assigned. Compensation: $18.00 - $20.70 per hour, depending on education and experience. Respiratory Therapist Assistant Biller Responsibilities:

Basic understanding of EKG

BLS required upon hire.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in patient care as directed.
  • Monitor vital signs: Track and record patient vital signs, such as heart rate, respiratory rate, and oxygen levels.
  • Prepare and maintain equipment: Clean, disinfect, and prepare respiratory equipment (ex. Home sleep study equipment) for use in patient care.
  • Transport patients: Move patients to and from different areas of the hospital, ensuring they are comfortable and safe.
  • Assist with diagnostic tests: Help in the setup and administration of diagnostic tests (e.g., HST, event monitors, EKGs, Noc Ox’s), and record results for the provider's review.
  • Educate patients: Provide basic instructions to patients and families on how to use HST and Noc Ox's.
  • Documentation and Billing: Prepares reports for physicians; processes and distributes reports to proper physicians.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment: Ensure that all stocking, cleaning equipment, and respiratory equipment is maintained in good working order, and follow infection control and safety protocols.
  • Emergency support: Assist in emergency situations, such as performing CPR.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Compensation:

  • $18.00 - $20.70 per hour, depending on education and experience.
  • Discretionary bonuses, relocation expenses, merit increase, market adjustments, recognition bonuses, and other forms of discretionary compensation may be available.
