Requirements for consideration: While, experience in an inpatient hospital setting, inpatient rehabilitation experience is a plus, new graduates are welcome to apply . Current state license as a Physical Therapist in good standing is required. Current BLS/CPR certification required. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Demonstrates appropriate application of age specific standards, policies and procedures and guidelines in caring for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients Knowledge of accreditation standards to ensure adherence to all standards set forth by state and accrediting agencies of TJC and CMS. Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures, and utilizes proper policies, procedures, and guidelines in caring for patients. Demonstrates an understanding of treatment costs and financial support as they relate to quality and efficiency. Physical Requirements Over the Course of a Shift: A significant amount of standing, walking, bending, squatting, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling, often for prolonged periods of time. Both gross and precise motor functions. Lifting/exerting of up to 50 lbs. Possible exposure to bodily fluids. Visual acuity required for patient assessment and documentation of care.
