Job Description: Procera Complete Dental Lab is a dental lab for finalizing individualized CAD/CAM dental prosthetics.The Dental Lab Technician II is responsible for performing finishing processes (such as Stain and Glaze) on semi-finished products. This involves the process of transforming a semi-finished product to look like a natural tooth by matching color, hue, texture, luster, and appearance of translucency to customer needs. The individual must be customer focused, efficient, have a level of artistic ability, a general understanding of dental anatomy, and a keen sense of color. Adhere to work instructions to finalize dental prosthetics per customer needs Apply Stain and Glaze to products, with small tools such as a paint brush, to ensure correct color, hue, texture, and chroma are matched Frequently handle and manipulate small components using a pinch or squeeze grip with the non-dominant hand across multiple production tasks. Operate small handheld power, impact, and vibratory tools with the dominant hand for brief durations, intermittently throughout the shift, to support product finishing and detailing. Perform technical tasks using footpedal-operated handheld tools, assisting with material preparation and processing Perform maintenance activities for equipment according to procedures. Operate all secondary equipment as required (Furnace, UltraSonic Cleaner, Sandblaster, etc) Proactively work in collaboration with other departments to ensure goal is met Work as part of a team to improve manufacturing processes through Kaizen Perform end product final inspection, packaging, and/or labeling processes for own work and work of others Identify and escalate issues such as quality concerns to direct manager and/or correct function Maintains safety policies and procedures, including 5S initiatives and housekeeping Attend and participate in Safety Committees / Training as required Receive Rx from clinician and place necessary orders for semi-finished components to meet request Job Requirements: Critical Knowledge and Qualifications: (what the role holder must know; including any required general or professional qualifications/education) High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience Experience working as a Dental Technician or experience working within similar or equivalent high-precision artistic manufacturing process General understanding of dental anatomy required Certified Dental Technician preferred Critical Skills/technical know-how: (what the role holder must be able to do) Professional proficiency in English required Professional proficiency in PC-standard software (MS-Office); basic knowledge of SAP preferred Ability to identify slight variances in color and hue Must have a strong attention to detail Ability to handle and manipulate small components using a pinch/squeeze grip with the non-dominant hand across multiple tasks performed frequently throughout the full duration of the shift Ability to operate small handheld power, impact, or vibratory tools with the dominant hand for short durations, repeatedly throughout the full duration of the shift Ability to sit for 8 hours during work shift with occasional breaks, willing to work overtime depending on business demands Ability to see through and perform tasks using a microscope Ability to operate equipment using a foot pedal Critical Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as a Dental Technician and proven track record of success Experience working in more than one dental lab preferred Experience working in a regulated environment preferred #LI-TP1 IND123 Target Market Salary Range: Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. Assist the Dental Supervisor and Regional Dental Manager in coordinating and training new employees, Dental Trainees and other dental assistants. Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining an efficient patient flow, eliminating “bottlenecks”, reducing wait times and addressing patients’ questions appropriately. Responsible for notifying the Dental Supervisor and Regional Dental Manager/or Clinic Manager and the Dental Director, when appropriate, of departmental performance concerns, policy violations and other feedback that may affect the operations, customer service or patient flow. Have completed a formal Dental Assistant program at a College, Technical Institute or equivalent. Must have 2 years working experience. Employees with no formal training must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a Dental Assistant position. All Dental Assistants must keep a current Dental Assistant Registration failure to do so will result in disciplinary action, including suspension and up to termination. This position must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR within 90 days of hire date and is required to maintain current BLS CPR throughout employment. TB testing annually. Must maintain a current Washington State Dental Registration from the Department of Health, failure to have a current registration will result in disciplinary action, including suspension and up to termination. Procera Complete Dental Lab is a dental lab for finalizing individualized CAD/CAM dental prosthetics.The Dental Lab Technician II is responsible for performing finishing processes (such as Stain and Glaze) on semi-finished products. This involves the process of transforming a semi-finished product to look like a natural tooth by matching color, hue, texture, luster, and appearance of translucency to customer needs. The individual must be customer focused, efficient, have a level of artistic ability, a general understanding of dental anatomy, and a keen sense of color.

  • Adhere to work instructions to finalize dental prosthetics per customer needs
  • Apply Stain and Glaze to products, with small tools such as a paint brush, to ensure correct color, hue, texture, and chroma are matched
  • Frequently handle and manipulate small components using a pinch or squeeze grip with the non-dominant hand across multiple production tasks.
  • Operate small handheld power, impact, and vibratory tools with the dominant hand for brief durations, intermittently throughout the shift, to support product finishing and detailing.
  • Perform technical tasks using footpedal-operated handheld tools, assisting with material preparation and processing
  • Perform maintenance activities for equipment according to procedures.
  • Operate all secondary equipment as required (Furnace, UltraSonic Cleaner, Sandblaster, etc)
  • Proactively work in collaboration with other departments to ensure goal is met
  • Work as part of a team to improve manufacturing processes through Kaizen
  • Perform end product final inspection, packaging, and/or labeling processes for own work and work of others
  • Identify and escalate issues such as quality concerns to direct manager and/or correct function
  • Maintains safety policies and procedures, including 5S initiatives and housekeeping
  • Attend and participate in Safety Committees / Training as required
  • Receive Rx from clinician and place necessary orders for semi-finished components to meet request

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience working as a Dental Technician or experience working within similar or equivalent high-precision artistic manufacturing process
  • General understanding of dental anatomy required
  • Certified Dental Technician preferred

  • Professional proficiency in English required
  • Professional proficiency in PC-standard software (MS-Office); basic knowledge of SAP preferred
  • Ability to identify slight variances in color and hue
  • Must have a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to handle and manipulate small components using a pinch/squeeze grip with the non-dominant hand across multiple tasks performed frequently throughout the full duration of the shift

Target Market Salary Range:
