PERFORMANCE STANDARDS/CRITERIA 1. Performs clinical/dental services at an average rate of at least one patient per hour. 2. Provides clinical/dental services to at least 700 - 800 individuals over a twelve month period. 3. Follow and implement all CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA policies and procedures. 4. Awareness/acceptance of cultural competency and sensitivity aspects. 5. Possess and utilize good and effective communication skills. 6. Responsible to learn and implement the DSHC electronic dental record (EDR) program following health center policies. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Licensed as a Registered Dental Hygienist in Idaho, including local anesthesia administration credentials Willing and able to carry equipment weighing approximately 40 pounds. Licensed Idaho driver with dependable car. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Public health experience. Experience working with minorities or disadvantaged groups. Educator experience with individuals and groups. Demonstrated knowledge of current dental practice. Bicultural/bilingual or experience working with Hispanic population Salary is DOE.
