Key Responsibilities Team Leadership and Coordination Supervise dental assistants and other clinical support staff to ensure efficient clinic operations. Provide mentorship, training, and support to team members to promote professional growth and performance improvement. Oversee the inventory and ordering of dental supplies and equipment, ensuring the clinic remains fully stocked and operational. Assist in developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance efficiency and consistency. Work closely with the Dental Office Manager to address workflow challenges and implement corrective actions as needed. Patient Care and Experience Ensure the dental team delivers compassionate, high-quality care to all patients. Address patient concerns or complaints professionally, escalating issues to the Dental Office Manager when necessary. Promote adherence to patient care protocols and ensure the proper use of the electronic dental records system (e.g., EDR). Administrative Responsibilities Assist in the onboarding and orientation of new dental team members. Perform periodic evaluations of team members and provide constructive feedback. Collaborate with the Dental Office Manager to track clinic performance metrics, such as patient volumes and productivity rates. Participate in audits and compliance reviews as required by FQHC regulations.
