Job SummaryWe are a well-established, independent dental practice in Arlington, Texas, dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care in a warm and supportive environment. We are seeking a reliable, positive, and team-oriented Dental Assistant to join our close-knit team. In this role, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth, efficient patient flow, delivering excellent chairside support, and helping create comfortable, positive experiences for every patient.

Primary Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for a variety of dental procedures (general, restorative, cosmetic, extractions, implants, Invisalign, etc.)
• Provide direct chairside assistance to the dentist during all procedures
• Take high-quality digital x-rays (FMX, bitewings, periapicals), intraoral photos, and impressions/scans as needed
• Perform sterilization, disinfection, and maintenance of instruments and equipment in compliance with OSHA and CDC guidelines
• Comfort patients, explain procedures in a clear and reassuring manner, and provide post-operative instructions
• Update patient electronic charts, document treatments accurately, and maintain organized records
• Assist with basic front-office tasks when necessary (patient check-in/out, scheduling, phone support)
• Keep clinical areas clean, stocked, and ready for the next patient
• Support infection control protocols and maintain a safe, welcoming clinical environment

Qualifications & Requirements

• Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) certification in Texas (or eligibility to obtain)
• Current CPR certification
• Previous dental assisting experience preferred (but we welcome motivated newer assistants with strong potential and a willingness to learn)
• Friendly, calm, and professional demeanor with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to multitask in a busy yet rewarding setting
• Team-player attitude with a genuine passion for helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment
