Summary The Dispensary Assistant provides support in the dispensary and receiving area. The Dispensary Assistant is responsible for the dispensing, collecting, processing and general care of dental instruments, equipment and all supplies utilized in the Dental Clinic. Participate in quality assurance within the department and report discrepancies to the Supervisor of Dispensary for resolution. Perform inventory counts and report stock balance discrepancies to the Supervisor of Dispensary for resolution Ensure all equipment is returned to dispensary in clean and excellent working condition. Maintain the organization, cleanliness and general appearance of the dispensary space and related storage facilities. Work with the Supervisor of Dispensary to conduct required annual calibrations on assigned dental equipment. Must be able to multitask and fluctuate between floors for coverage.
