The Dental Assistant Laboratory Skills Instructor operates under the direct supervision of the Program Director, contributing to the academic and professional development of students within the Dental Assistant program. • Deliver assigned classes using prescribed courses of study, established texts, and instructional materials.
• Maintain the classroom and laboratory environments in optimal physical condition.

• Review and manage the procurement of medical supplies necessary for laboratory experiences.
• Provide hands-on instruction through demonstrations and practical exercises.

• Manage simulation scenarios and assess student responses for effectiveness and accuracy.

• Degree or post-secondary education and relevant experience meeting state (TWC) and ABHES accreditation requirements.
• A minimum of 5 years of practical experience in the field, with prior teaching experience preferred.
