OPPORTUNITY TCCH is growing and actively recruiting Dental Assistants to join our Care Team within the Pasco WIC, Behavioral Health, and Dental Care site. We are seeking passionate, driven individuals who align with our values of Quality, Respect, and Service, and are eager to make a meaningful impact on the well-being of our patients through delivery of exceptional care. Our Dental Assistants provide chairside assistance to dentists and promote direct patient care as it relates to dentistry. Responsible for conducting x-rays, prepping patients for treatment, instrument sterilization, and other duties as assigned, our staff strives to work at the top of their scope and delivers compassionate, quality patient care. FUNCTIONS Assist in all aspects of dental exams and procedures under the supervision of dentist or Director of Dentistry Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of dental instruments, techniques, and procedures Perform patient care activities in accordance with policies and procedures Perform x-rays and impressions Upkeep all areas of the Dental Department to always ensure high level of cleanliness Obtain clinical privileges if applicable Assist with dental outreach program as directed Follow the organization's exposure control plans and bloodborne and airborne pathogens protocol Demonstrate respect and regard for the dignity of all patients, families, visitors, and fellow employees to ensure a professional, responsible, and courteous environment Work on a team toward surpassing departmental goals and objectives across multiple departments and facilities Promotes positive working relations and works effectively as part of a department/unit intra departmentally to facilitate the department's/unit's ability to meet its goals and objectives Carry out all other duties as assigned SCHEDULE / LOCATION Tue, Wed, Thur, Fri 7am - 6pm (off Mon) Pasco WAGE / STATUS $23.26-$26.19/hour; up to $30.08/hour This is a Union / Bargaining Unit position, non-exempt BENEFITS AND WELL-BEING A flexible, part time schedule for creating a healthy work-life balance Competitive pay for highly qualified individuals (you!) OPPORTUNITY

TCCH is growing and actively recruiting Dental Assistants to join our Care Team within the Pasco WIC, Behavioral Health, and Dental Care site. Requirements

  • Current Dental Assisting Registration certification from the State of Washington required
  • Must have or obtain current CPR, First Aid, and AED certification within three (3) months or hire
  • Minimum one (1) year of dental assisting experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of current dental terminology, equipment, and procedures relating to dentistry required
