Enter chart notes for treatment provided into Salesforce at the time of treatment. Ensure that OSHA safety and cleanliness regulations are followed during patient treatment. Qualifications JOB SUMMARY Assists dentists and dental teams in maintaining clean and sterilized dental equipment and ready to use dental operatories. SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES Effectively executes dental office infection control activities in compliance with OSHA guidelines. Uses proper pre-cleaning and disinfecting procedures to disinfectant all surfaces and supplies. After every visit removes all disposable barriers and instruments. Performs proper disinfection. Replaces all barriers in operatory and sets up instruments for the next patient. Maintains dental equipment and informs Dental Lead about any necessary equipment repairs. Ensures that dental supplies are stocked in proper areas (i.e. operatory and lab). Cleans and sterilizes dental equipment after every patient visit. Operates autoclave. Maintains sterilization equipment. Performs other work-related duties as assigned. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Knowledge and familiarity with dental equipment/supply cleaning and sterilization English proficiency required ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS In order to fulfill the requirements of this position, duties 1-9 are considered essential functions of the job. ORGANIZATIONAL INVOLVEMENT This position is required to participate in mandatory all staff meetings, team meetings and trainings.
