A minimum of 6 months of work experience is required. Employee with no formal training must have a minimum of 18 months of work experience in a Dental Assistant position. As a Dental Assistant III applicant must be knowledgeable of the proper sterilization methods and OSHA regulations including QI. Able to duplicate and mount radiographs, place temporary restorations, take impressions, pour and trim models, place retraction cord, place matrix bands, perform coronal polish and give fluoride treatments.
