Location: Depolying to the Marshall Islands Job Summary: The Dental Assistant reports to the Dentist and will be supervised by the Dentist while performing fieldwork. The Dental Assistant will deliver services in any one of three settings: (1) Field Health Unit (2) Small medical/trauma hospital (3) Large medical/trauma hospital and assists in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a Dentist or physician. Qualifications: 2 years minimum Dental Assistant experience is required. Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) certification or state license is required. Must have and maintain current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). Must be current in all required certifications. Requires a favorable security background check and drug screen. All healthcare providers must have current clinical experience in direct patient care and have worked a minimum of 6 of the last 12 months in a desired career field. Must have a valid, current U.S. Driver's License. Must have a valid U.S. Passport with no less than 6 months remaining before expiration. Shall be proficient in the ability to speak, write, and communicate in English. Requires a favorably adjudicated CNACI investigation conducted by the Department of Defense.
