Qualifications:

Connecticut: certification and proof of formal training to expose X-rays.Florida: Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification and proof of formal training to expose X-rays (including FDOH Permit to expose X-rays).Georgia: CPR Certification, Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification, and proof of formal training to expose X-rays.Massachusetts: CPR Certification, proof of formal training to expose X-rays, BORID certification and annual CE requirements must be completed per state regulations.Michigan: Upon hiring, you are required to furnish evidence of X-ray training certification. If you do not possess certification at the time of hiring, you are granted an 8-week period to submit it.New Jersey: Proof of X-ray training.New York: Not applicable.Ohio: Proof of formal training to expose X-rays (including FDOH Permit to Expose X-rays)Texas: CPR Certification, TSBDE: TX State Board of Dental Examiners.
