When you join an Aspen Dental practice, you'll participate in an eight-week training program to succeed in your role. Provide superior patient service with compassion and care in accordance with patient needs, company policies and procedures, government regulations, and dental board standards Work collaboratively with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care Consult with patients on treatment options provided by clinical team, verifying insurance payment and collection ensuring high quality of care Under the direction of the Manager, supervise and reinforce the daily tasks and priorities of the non-clinical team Review data day to day to evaluate the impact on the practice Oversee scheduling and confirming patient appointments Verify insurance payment, collection, balance nightly deposits and credit card processing Additional tasks assigned by the Manager Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds Demonstrate analytical thinking; place a premium on leveraging data Organized and detail oriented Aspen Dental-branded practices are independently owned and operated by licensed dentists. Job Summary:

To provide chair side assistance to our dentists and within the current ADA Guidelines of scope of practice for a Certified or Registered Dental Assistant; act as a resource for other dental staff; and maintain dental instruments, equipment and operatories in a clean and ready for use manner.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Assists the dentist with dental procedures.
  • Responsible for keeping dental instruments, equipment and operatories clean to be readily used.
  • Patient preparation for dentist.
  • Sets up operatories for dental procedure.
  • Assists dentist using 4 handed dentistry.
  • Organizes operatories assuring adequate and appropriate supplies and equipment.
  • Maintains standards of asepsis and follows safety guidelines.
  • Familiar with OSHA Guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Certified or Registered Dental Assistant
  • High school graduate or GED equivalent
  • Previous experience in healthcare desirable
  • Computer experience desirable
