About the Role

As a Dental Receptionist, you will play a key role in shaping the patient's experience from the moment they walk through the door.  As the first point of contact for our patients, your friendly attitude, professionalism, and strong organizational skills will be essential in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive.  By managing appointments, addressing patient inquiries, and ensuring smooth office operations, you'll contribute directly to the comfort and satisfaction of every patient, making a positive impact on their overall experience at our practice.  

Responsibilities

  • Welcoming patients and assisting with check-in, creating a positive first impression.  
  • ☎Efficiently answer incoming calls on multiple phone lines, ensuring that each patient receives prompt and courteous service.  
  • Maintain a well-organized and up-to-date appointment calendar, ensuring that all patients are scheduled accurately and appropriately for their treatments.  
  • Accurate patient data entry, ensuring that all patient data is entered in compliance with privacy laws (HIPAA) and maintains the highest level of confidentiality.  
  • Verify and update patient insurance information prior to appointments to ensure accurate billing and coverage. 

What We're Looking For

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare or dental fields is a plus.  
  • Required: At least 1 year previous experience in a dental office  
  • ✅Successful completion of the initial online assessment provided during the application process.  
  • Must be bilingual in Spanish
  • Availability to work some weekends   
  • Positive, friendly attitude with a strong commitment to providing excellent patient care.
