Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA)
Location: Wellsboro
Salary Range: $25–$29 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday 8:00am–5:00pm
Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join their well-established practice in Wellsboro, PA. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced EFDA looking for a consistent weekday schedule and a supportive clinical environment.
Responsibilities:
Perform expanded functions duties in accordance with Pennsylvania regulations.
Place and finish restorations as permitted by EFDA certification.
Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures.
Take digital X-rays.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatories.
Maintain strict infection control standards.
Update and maintain accurate patient records.
Provide patient education and post-operative instructions.
Ensure a smooth and efficient clinical workflow.
Qualifications:
Active Pennsylvania EFDA certification.
X-ray certification.
Prior clinical experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail and clinical proficiency.
Excellent communication and patient care skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive hourly rate based on experience ($25–$29/hr).
Consistent Monday–Thursday schedule.
