Position Purpose This Tool Room Clerk is responsible for ensuring a safe and effective learning environment in the school lab/shop area by maintaining control of tools, equipment and supplies used by students and faculty. Key Duties Efficiently issue, track, inspect, and maintain tools, equipment, and supplies, ensuring proper functionality and safety for students and faculty. Implement and oversee safety programs, tool inspections, calibrations, and maintenance, ensuring adherence to OSHA regulations and a safe work environment. Monitor inventory levels, anticipate shortages, maintain records, and report on lost or damaged tools, ensuring availability of materials for class projects. Assemble and issue tools and materials required for class projects. Record what was issued, and to which person. Record the return of tools and materials. Generate a “Lost Tool Report” to record any tools that were not returned during that shift, and submit to the Director of Education. Maintain a tool inspection and safety program to ensure that all tools issued are safe for use. Maintain control over all broken tools, and report broken tools to the Director of Education. Maintain an inspection and calibration program for all precision measuring devices and other tools requiring calibration. This activity may include a SimCal (Simulated Calibration) system for tools used exclusively for class projects, but not used on live aircraft. Perform routine maintenance, and required calibration, on training equipment to ensure safety and proper operation. Maintain records of calibration and maintenance. Verify that there are adequate numbers of tools and training equipment to accomplish required class projects, and report anticipated shortages to the Director of Education prior to the shortage occurring. Verify that supplies and materials are present, and in place for required class projects, report any shortages to the Director of Education prior to the module start. Assist in sourcing and purchasing support for tools, equipment, and materials for class and special project needs. Ensure compliance with OSHA and other workplace safety regulatory agencies. Participate in facility and equipment maintenance activities. Perform and complete other tasks assigned by Supervisor. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent on-the-job experience. At least three years in a position requiring use of hand tools and equipment similar to that found in an aircraft repair shop. Basic computer skills, keyboarding, e-mail, word processor, spreadsheets. Exhibits a positive, team-oriented attitude by remaining flexible and available to work outside of scheduled hours when needed, as directed by the Supervisor. Preferred Qualifications Special consideration should be given to mechanics with prior aviation experience. The role requires the ability to manage daily challenges confidently and adapt to shifting priorities, and assess critical issues related to guest rooms and resort amenities, making sound and timely decisions to resolve problems effectively. General Duties: • Guest Rooms – repairing all types of hardware, plumbing, electrical equipment, including lamps, air conditioners, cosmetic items, replacing electrical switches and outlets and programming TV’s. • Public Areas – repairing and/or adjusting all types of hardware, plumbing, electrical, HVAC equipment and cosmetic items. • Fire Alarm/Life Safety System – to monitor systems as necessary, to be fully informed of the system operation and to handle emergencies involving the systems. Hotel Group Coordinator, Moxy Madison Downtown

Flexible availability required on Monday to Friday, and occasional weekends
Open to both Morning and Evening shifts

Hotel and sales/group experience in hospitality 
 
Moxy boldly breaks the rules of a conventional hotel stay, starting with check-in at the Bar. Communal play spaces and a central bar serve double duty as the front desk, delivering a unique, playful experience.

How do I make an impact on my team?
Our Hotel Group Coordinator creates and maintains lasting relationships with guests, serving as the primary contact for all hotel group contracts. They provide exceptional service by preparing and following up with groups to ensure their stay is nothing short of memorable.
  • Make daily contact to potential customers via in-person visits, telephone calls and written correspondence
  • Assist with internet prospecting and brand website opportunities
  • Ensure that all functions/groups are adhered to according to contracts
  • Coordinate with front desk staff and management the check-in procedures and room assignments for hotel groups upon their arrival date to ensure contract terms and requests are met
  • Act as the onsite contact for daily and weekly property meeting room functions ensuring all their needs and requirements have been met
  • Assist the Food and Beverage staff with room refreshes, serving lunch, and room turns
What does success look like in this role?
  • Two-year degree or equivalent related work experience 
  • Motivated to maintain excellent customer service reputation
  • Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail, organization and follow-up abilities
  • Excellent customer service skills to include problem-solving and complaint resolution 
  • Intermediate word processing, database and spreadsheet skills
