What You'll Do: Provide immediate and continuous service and attention to all guests upon seating, introduce yourself. Makes drinks for our guests, utilizing proper recipes, glassware, and garnishes; serves drinks or prepares for wait staff. Handles purchasing transactions, which include operating cash register and accounting of daily sales. Set up and complete assigned side work, including inspecting all tables in the assigned section. Suggestive selling on menu items and highlight specials. Take guest orders. Special requests check with the kitchen first if it can be accommodated. Place orders with the kitchen through POS. Inform chefs/cooks about any special cooking instructions and or food allergies. Clears and resets tables and bar area as needed. Prepares all bar mixes and garnishes prior to opening. Stocks bar with all necessary items including but not limited to glassware, beer, liquor, mixes, non-alcoholic beverages, and supplies. Possesses and maintains thorough knowledge of all beverage selections available and characteristics/description of every wine/champagne on the wine list and by the glass; all designated glassware/garnishes for drinks; all menu items, preparation method/time, ingredients, sauces, portion sizes, presentation, and prices. Maintains cleanliness and sanitation at all times; performs closing clean-up duties. Assists other staff members as needed to ensure optimum service to all customer and guests. Verify the accuracy of prices, state and federal taxes, tips, and other charges on all checks. Advise supervisor/manager of any complaints and act to resolve complaints. Perform clean-up, side work, and closing duties as assigned by supervisor/manager. What We're Looking For: Previous experience in a bar setting is preferred. Thorough knowledge of wines and beers served in the bar, mixed drink preparation and techniques. Thorough knowledge of state liquor regulations. Great communication skills. Excellent Customer service skills. How You’ll Make An Impact
The guest-focused Hotel Breakfast Attendant is the first to greet our guests in the morning and engage in conversation to create a memorable and personalized experience.
  • Prepares and replenishes breakfast items in an appealing manner
  • Maintains a clean breakfast area by sanitizing tables, chairs, fixtures and surfaces as well as back of house kitchen area
  • Handles the storing of food deliveries, organizes storage areas to ensure the quality of the food, and rotates food stock based on expiration
  • Meets health and sanitation policies for federal, state, local and company standards and requirements
