As part of our mission to pave the way for children's success worldwide, Therapy Source is seeking a part-time School Social Worker to provide virtual services for charter K-12 school students in New Mexico. This position is for the current school year.

School Social Worker Salary Range: $55-$57 per hour

School Social Worker Position Details:

• Part-Time
• Needed to work virtually at a school in Las Cruces for dropout recovery and for dropout recovery plus K-12 campus in Gallup
• Great for some looking for supplemental income and flexible hours
• Direct and indirect pay

School Social Worker Qualification(s):

• License in the state of New Mexico
• School Certification in the state of New Mexico
• Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances
• Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)

School Social Worker Responsibilities May Include:

• Providing Behavioral Support Services
• Driving student achievement for students with disabilities
• Responding to progress monitoring results and student assessment data
• Providing support to students, parents, and general education staff and supporting student learning
• Mentoring and coaching students on self-regulation and organizational skills
• Developing effective IEPs that translate into measurable results for students
• Handling Medicare reimbursements
