What You Will Do:
Manages Service Technicians ensuring safety, quality, and efficient operations.
Schedules Service Technicians and controls field-related costs, auditing field reports (time, mileage, and quality); prepares work schedules and assigns work to maintain and manage technician productivity.
Develops and/or reviews quotes and repair plans based on length of repair and parts and labor availability; communicates quotes, repair plans, status reports, and invoices to customers; develops claims as required as part of the quoting procedure.
Manages Service vehicle inventory. Allocates available inventory in a manner that maximizes the satisfied customer base while minimizing the probability of stock-out conditions.
Creates and analyzes product failure analysis reports.
Develops strong relationships with key customers through frequent and professional communication.
Knows and enforces compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
Drives and contributes to the department continuous improvement culture.
Coaches and mentor's direct reports; assigns work according to availability, skills, and developmental needs; assesses performance and provides feedback to direct reports.
Manages facility operations for production, field service, quality and shipping and receiving.
Maintains on-going communications with Regional Operations Managers and Sales team to better understand customers' needs and to improve the quality of our services.
Other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Two-year technical degree or equivalent education and/or experience.
Valid driver's license in state of residence required.
Four years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry.
Artificial Lift field services experience
Two years' experience leading field services teams.
Strong troubleshooting skills; ability to problem solving effectively.
Strong mechanical skills
Strong communication skills both verbal and written, ability to comminate with all levels of employees, and customers.
Strong safety focus; ability to lead by e
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift and carry 25 lbs regularly, and 50 lbs. occasionally.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
The employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
Employee is required to occasionally walk in customer field locations which may include inclines, uneven surfaces, and a variety of weather conditions.
Employee must be able to regularly bend, stoop, crawl, lay down, twist and push.
Employee is required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment including but not limited to shoes/boots, hard hats, or respirators.
