Your Role PAC is seeking a self-motivated individual to perform installation, routine maintenance, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate and testing of electronic instrumentation and related electromechanical equipment used in the Gas Chromatography (GC) and Elemental Analyzers in the Petro-Chemical industry in major refineries and independent laboratories according to ASTM methods. Position requires up to 90% travel to customer locations, primarily throughout the Mid-West area and various other territory coverage based on business need. Qualified candidates must reside in Greater Houston or Greater Chicago area and be able to meet DISA and ASAP policy requirements to access all customer sites. Maintain and increase knowledge of product specifications as assigned including product and software updates. Promote good customer relationship through professional communication and by providing exceptional customer service. Position Summary: The Gas Control team is responsible for monitoring and controlling of the NSP and PSCo Gas Transmission and Distribution systems. These control rooms operate 24/7 and are independent of one another. With primary Control Room for NSP at Rice St Service Center and the primary Control Room for Denver at Lipan Distribution Center. Secondary backup sites are in White Bear Lake, MN and Golden, CO. The team consists of Gas Controllers that are responsible for ensuring system safety and reliability of the natural gas systems through the information being collected and presented in the Gas SCADA system. Using this information, the controllers can adjust system equipment remotely through the use of field controls and configure the system for the changing customer demand. They also receive alarms indicating abnormal operating conditions in which they will deploy field responders to correct. Typical intern responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Support both the field teams on integrating the field devices into the SCADA system and the Controllers in their daily activities. This is done through building new HMI displays for the Controllers to better view and interpret the information collected. Perform entry level work and assist the Gas Control Analysts with Cybersecurity compliance through maintenance of firmware and password in SCADA field assets. This responsibility is new to the team and part of TSA directives. They would also work with the analysts on configuration of new equipment, functional testing of field equipment in the Gas SCADA test labs prior to installation into the field. Review and upload station drawings and controls narratives to the SCADA system for the Gas Controllers. Through practical Gas Control Room experience and mentoring, a successful candidate will gain significant knowledge of operations and teamwork needed to accomplish the department's goals. This position is for a June 1st, 2026 start. These positions may have the possibility to extend beyond the internship's initial term based on the candidate's successful performance and Xcel's business needs.   • Analyze and update database to help develop value base pricing methodologies which will be used to form competitive price strategies for the budgetary and firm proposals of Aero New Unit transactional opportunities.
  • Understand and improve pricing systems and database to support consistent application of processes and data
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams including engineering, commercial, business transformation, project execution, sourcing, product line to improve data and business processes.
  • Use your academic knowledge to complete assigned projects, deliver positive outcomes, and contribute to the success or our team.
