Duties Conduct preliminary field work which would include carrying approximately 10 lbs. throughout the work day. Expected amount of field work would be approximately 5-10% of annual work load, but may vary based on client needs and project assignments. Collaborate with Engineering firms for design, procurement, and implementation of GLS systems Assess requirements and deliver effective solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Utilize engineering and programming expertise for system functionality and quality. Stay updated on industry standards and best practices for gas monitoring systems. Conduct field verifications and assessments to ensure successful system implementation. Provide technical expertise and guidance to stakeholders. Document system design, installation, and maintenance records. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in collaboration with team members. Continuously evaluate system performance and recommend improvements or upgrades. Creating and maintaining operational procedures specific to Gas Life Safety Operations Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience. Strong knowledge of gas monitoring system design and implementation. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to gas detection and monitoring. Proficiency in engineering tools and programming languages used in system design. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively. Physical Requirements: Must be able wear PPE such as safety shoes, eye protection, fall protection. Must be able to walk/stand on hard surfaces for long periods of time. Must be able to ascend and descend ladders, scaffolds, and stairs.
