Q3 Contracting, has an immediate opening for Field Operations Supervisor – SUE for Commerce City, CO . The SUE Field Ops. Sup. will be responsible for overseeing currently one pothole foreman, two utility locate foreman, three pothole crews and 10 utility locators. They will also be responsible for overseeing our pothole sub-contractors. This role will be responsible for keeping the crews on track with the schedule and driving safety, quality and efficiencies for the customer. They will be responsible for keeping our locate and pothole timelines involving field operations in-line with Customer Scorecard metrics and expectations and ensuring our crews have what they need to perform their jobs effectively and safely. * Primary Responsibilities Include: Maintain and manage locate and pothole schedule; attend weekly pothole/locate schedule meetings Prepare detailed reports outlining the findings from lessons learned in the field; corrective actions if warranted Conducting both Intelex Quality Audits as well as standard workmanship audits to ensure crews are working safe and to our standard and expectations Work cohesively with our CAD Sup to ensure accurate data uploads from locators to CAD and to help keep group on track with scorecard timelines Position Requirements: 2-5 year’s utility locate and/or supervisor experience in the Utilities construction industry preferred. Very proficient computer skills using MS Excel, Access, Word, and Power Point. Ability to work independently and follow through on assignments. Effective oral and written communication skills. Detail-oriented and focused on accuracy. Works well under pressure, responds appropriately to changing priorities and unexpected situations. Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills. Q3 Contracting, has an immediate opening for Field Operations Supervisor – SUE for Commerce City, CO.  The SUE Field Ops. Sup. will be responsible for overseeing currently one pothole foreman, two utility locate foreman, three pothole crews and 10 utility locators.  They will also be responsible for overseeing our pothole sub-contractors. This role will be responsible for keeping the crews on track with the schedule and driving safety, quality and efficiencies for the customer. They will be responsible for keeping our locate and pothole timelines involving field operations in-line with Customer Scorecard metrics and expectations and ensuring our crews have what they need to perform their jobs effectively and safely. *

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintain and manage locate and pothole schedule; attend weekly pothole/locate schedule meetings
  • Prepare detailed reports outlining the findings from lessons learned in the field; corrective actions if warranted
  • Conducting both Intelex Quality Audits as well as standard workmanship audits to ensure crews are working safe and to our standard and expectations
  • Work cohesively with our CAD Sup to ensure accurate data uploads from locators to CAD and to help keep group on track with scorecard timelines

Position Requirements:

  • 2-5 year’s utility locate and/or supervisor experience in the Utilities construction industry preferred.
  •  Very proficient computer skills using MS Excel, Access, Word, and Power Point.
  • Ability to work independently and follow through on assignments.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and focused on accuracy.
  • Works well under pressure, responds appropriately to changing priorities and unexpected situations.
  • Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills.
  • Team-Oriented.
  •  Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Other duties as assigned.
