You will collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and promote best practices in medication therapy.Responsibilities

• Prepare, dispense, and review medications for accuracy and appropriateness*
• Provide clinical support to healthcare providers regarding drug therapy and interactions*
• Monitor patient medication regimens for therapeutic effectiveness and safety*
• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations*
• Educate patients and staff on medication use and best practices*
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and interdisciplinary care teams*
• Maintain accurate documentation and inventory control of all pharmaceutical products

Education & Certification Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution*
• Current South Dakota Pharmacist License (or eligibility to obtain before start date)*
• Previous hospital or clinical experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
