This leadership role is ideal for a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech-Language Pathologist with a strong background in rehab management and a passion for clinical excellence.Position Overview The Director of Rehab is responsible for overseeing all rehabilitation services, ensuring high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, staff development, and operational success. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring clinical expertise and proven management experience.Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage the rehabilitation therapy team*
• Oversee daily operations of the rehab department*
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations*
• Develop and implement clinical programs and performance improvement initiatives*
• Manage productivity, staffing, scheduling, and budgeting*
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes*
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure quality assurance standards*
• Support staff development, training, and retention efforts

Required Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech-Language Pathologist*
• Active and unrestricted South Dakota license or ability to obtain*
• Minimum of 5 years of leadership or rehab management experience*
• Strong knowledge of rehab operations, compliance, and productivity standards*
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills*
• Experience in skilled nursing or post-acute care preferred

Education and Certification Requirements

• Degree from an accredited PT, OT, or SLP program*
• Current state licensure in respective discipline*
• CPR certification or ability to obtain
