Meets all professional and legal requirements for performing the work assigned. The primary duty will surround Project Management, but other duties as assigned may include onsite quality assurance observation, surveys, or other kinds of facility audits. Works with Leadership, Account Executives and/or other Operations staff to ensure Mantis Innovation has a sustained relationship with the client. Your Duties:

  • Generate estimates from plan drawings, specifications, field notes, field drawings, and actual field inspections
  • Prepare these detailed estimates for commercial projects by creating cost budgets for various roofing solutions and proposals to customers that are accurate and competitive in a timely manner
  • Provide input on pricing of roof solutions
  • Match contracts to estimate to ensure accurate pricing documentation
  • Work closely with project managers to ensure the successful completion of a project in accordance with how it was estimated
  • Ensure processes are followed from pre-bid until handoff meeting 
  • Be accountable for your own goals, decisions, and bids
  • Utilize bid log to track down bids and total bids closed

What You Bring:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred
  • Strong leadership traits and mentoring abilities
  • Quality focus
  • General computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, or another spreadsheet program 
  • Superior listening and communication skills 
  • Prior sales or estimating experience (preferred)
  • Prior roofing or construction experience (preferred)
