Job Description
- Lead sales efforts for our roofing and waterproofing brand in the assigned territory.
- Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to penetrate the market and expand customer base.
- Identify, develop, and manage relationships with installation contractors, distributors, and key influencers such as general contractors, specifiers, and building owners.
- Provide ongoing training, support, and technical expertise to customers through live demonstrations, remote learning sessions, and educational presentations.
- Utilize industry specifications, building notifications, and project plans to create and maintain a bid project pipeline.
- Travel extensively within the region to maintain strong customer relationships and identify new business opportunities.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including technical services, marketing, and finance, to ensure customer needs are met.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, generate reports, and provide strategic recommendations for market growth.
- Participate in industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to increase brand visibility and market penetration.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience in roofing and waterproofing systems, leading successful sales teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and grow sales territories, including experience in cold calling and prospecting.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, overcome objections, and drive sales in both national and regional markets.
- Experience with construction projects, including knowledge of installation processes, specifications, and application methods (preferred but not required).
- Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) to track sales activities and generate reports.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
- Familiarity with project specification processes and experience in selling solutions through specifications.
- Established network within the construction and building materials industry
