Who We Are Looking For We're searching for a highly driven, detail-oriented owner-operator or manager with strong subcontractor oversight , insurance claim fluency , and a growth mindset . This role requires a hands-on approach to operations, including ordering materials, scheduling installations, and managing invoices . Please note: this role primarily focuses on operational leadership, with no direct customer or adjuster contact required. Essential Qualifications Industry Leadership: 10+ years of comprehensive experience in the residential roofing industry , with a proven track record of managing and scaling reroofing operations, especially those involving storm damage and insurance claims. Operational Excellence: Deep understanding and hands-on experience with all aspects of roofing operations, including material procurement, precise scheduling of installations, subcontractor coordination and oversight , quality assurance, and job site safety protocols for various residential roofing systems. Insurance Claim Fluency: Strong knowledge of the insurance claims process for roofing , including understanding scope of work, material allowances, and effective documentation for project completion and billing. Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring efficient workflow, timely completion, and adherence to budget. Team Leadership: Experience in leading and motivating roofing crews and project managers, fostering a productive work environment, and ensuring high service standards and compliance. Financial & Business Management: Significant experience in small business management, including budgeting, financial analysis, P&L responsibility, and strategic planning to maximize profitability within a roofing context, including invoice payment. Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of different residential roofing materials, installation techniques, building codes, and industry best practices. Regulatory Understanding: A solid understanding of local building codes, safety regulations (OSHA), licensing requirements, and permitting processes relevant to roofing in Texas. Your Duties:

  • Manage your territory and expand, create and maintain relationships by calling and meeting with facilities directors, building owners, and purchasing directors
  • Help maintain contact with current customers
  • Make connections with customers by visiting facilities to assess service needs and offer tailored solutions 
  • Getting on roofs to conduct thorough inspections and spot opportunities to give winning, professional and detailed quotes for service needs
  • Stay organized and keep up to date information on contacts and operations in our management system, while thriving in a dynamic, challenging, fast paced environment
  • Support regional sales efforts
  • Keep track of all sales communication as well as provide insights on any lost business to help us keep improving

What You Bring:

  • A high school diploma and at least 3 years of sales experience, roofing experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and a self-motivated, proactive attitude
  • Maintain professionalism
  • Organizational skills and a knack for math
