The RN will coordinate their schedule with the patient and ensure care aligns with the patient’s individual plan of care and approved hours. The position requires local travel and 24/7 in-home care coverage for one-week assignments. Key Responsibilities: Administer nursing care  to ill, injured, or disabled patients in their home setting, ensuring a high level of comfort and safety. Execute plan of care directives  accurately and in accordance with physician’s orders. Monitor and report changes  in patient symptoms or behavior to the case manager or healthcare team. Administer medications and treatments  as prescribed by the treating physician. Collaborate with case manager and physicians  to ensure optimal patient care, including communication with specialists as needed. Educate patients and families  on health maintenance, disease prevention, and proper care management techniques. Maintain accurate patient documentation  and provide detailed progress notes to the case manager regularly. Provide emotional support  to patients and their families during the course of care. Assist with ADLs  as necessary, ensuring the patient’s comfort and dignity at all times. Communication: Prepare and provide  clinical notes and charting  to clients' case managers on the patient’s overall progress, including any changes in condition or care needs. Shift Structure: 24/7 care coverage : As a Travel RN, you will provide round-the-clock care for patients for one week at a time, working with the patient’s family to coordinate shift schedules in accordance with the patient’s plan of care and approved hours. The position involves traveling and providing continuous care for the entire week-long assignment. Qualifications: Kentucky/Compact RN License  in good standing required. Ability to travel  for week-long assignments as required. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing . CPR Certification  required. Independent contractor status  – you will manage your own schedule and work as an independent professional. Malpractice insurance  is required. Ability to pass a full background check . Familiarity with medical software and equipment  is a plus. Strong communication skills  and the ability to build rapport with patients and families. Mortgage lenders require periodic updates on their properties and to do this they send out independent contractors. The purpose of the property inspection is: To verify property occupancy. To report on the general condition of the property using a mobile application. Most inspections are exterior only. About 10% require interior photos after the property has gone vacant. We contract with inspectors at a county level. This means that you would be responsible to complete all inspections in your county. In some cases, you will split the county with another inspector if there is enough volume for two inspectors. Responsibilities Most common type of inspection should only take 5-6 minutes. Complete the inspection within 4 days after it is assigned Report general property conditions and make a determination of occupancy based on industry standards. Take 9+ photos of the property with brief comments. Complete a short form in an app Requires being able to spend extended periods of time driving while making numerous stops during the day in the assigned territory. Requirements (to be considered you must have the following): Computer with an internet connection Reliable vehicle (good gas mileage is a plus as you will be paying for your own gas) Smartphone (Android or iPhone) Printer Pass a standard background check using a valid driver's license Pay and Hours This is a 1099 position. Each inspection has a flat rate. Rates vary based on county and volume. Although you are paid per inspection, you will earn the equivalent of $20-$30 per hour. Depending on a county and if it is urban or rural you will complete anywhere from 20-500 inspections per month working 2-30 hours per week. Lower volume counties have higher rates and higher volume counties have lower rates. There is no set amount of inspections per month, but the work is consistent month-to-month. Earn more as you become established, have greater availability to inspect or are willing to cover a larger territory. No additional mileage reimbursement above the flat fee per inspection. Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, private in-home care to patients. This role involves providing complete nursing assessments, executing care plans, offering patient education, and assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed. The RN will coordinate their schedule with the patient and ensure care aligns with the patient’s individual plan of care and approved hours. The position requires local travel and 24/7 in-home care coverage for one-week assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients in their home setting, ensuring a high level of comfort and safety.
  • Execute plan of care directives accurately and in accordance with physician’s orders.
  • Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior to the case manager or healthcare team.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the treating physician.
  • Collaborate with case manager and physicians to ensure optimal patient care, including communication with specialists as needed.
  • Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and proper care management techniques.
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation and provide detailed progress notes to the case manager regularly.
  • Provide emotional support to patients and their families during the course of care.

Communication:

  • Prepare and provide clinical notes and charting to clients' case managers on the patient’s overall progress, including any changes in condition or care needs.

Shift Structure:

  • 24/7 care coverage: As a Travel RN, you will provide round-the-clock care for patients for one week at a time, working with the patient’s family to coordinate shift schedules in accordance with the patient’s plan of care and approved hours.
  • The position involves traveling and providing continuous care for the entire week-long assignment.

Qualifications:

  • Kentucky/Compact RN License in good standing required.
  • Ability to travel for week-long assignments as required.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • CPR Certification required.
  • Independent contractor status – you will manage your own schedule and work as an independent professional.
  • Malpractice insurance is required.
  • Ability to pass a full background check.
  • Familiarity with medical software and equipment is a plus.
