Communicate clearly and accurately to various staff. Coordinates with program administration. Serves as a positive role model by demonstrating professional and caring attitudes and behaviors toward co-workers, patients, and guests. Maintains an effective clinical organizational structure and delegate appropriate authority for completion of assigned responsibilities.  Knowledge of administrative, personnel, and clinical policies and procedures, and ability to comply and communicate these clearly and accurately to staff. Evaluates the impact of therapeutic interventions upon the therapeutic milieu.  The above is intended to be a general outline of job duties and not a complete list. Key Experience and Education Needed: Graduate of an accredited college or university with a minimum of Bachelor's degree in Drug and Alcohol Counseling and/or Masters Degree in Clinical Counseling or Social Work. Must hold an active professional certification/license recognized by the state of Kentucky for providing counseling services to individuals with a Substance Use Disorder Diagnosis.  Specifically, one of the following licenses: CADC, LCADC, LPCA, LPCC, CSW, LCSW, AMFT, LMFT. Other Qualifications to be Considered: Minimum of 2 years administrative and management setting familiarity, with Performance Improvement and Standards necessary. Communications skills to relate to all levels of management and counseling staff. Certification/Licensure: Unrestricted state license/registration/certification in any of the 49 regulated states, the District of Columbia, or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the US Virgin Islands to provide healthcare within the scope of practice for Athletic Trainers per state practice acts. Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of relevant Athletic Trainer work experience within the last five (5) years. Demonstrated experience working with high school, collegiate, or professional sports, military, performing arts, and/or occupational health. Relevant experience developing and executing tasks and environment-specific functional injury control and health/well-being programs for groups of athletes. Ability to demonstrate sound management qualities; past staff administration or management preferred. Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship. Credentialing: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen. Resident Support Supervises self-administration of medication to include the following: Ensure proper medication regimen, problem solve with residents who are self-monitoring, provide information about medications to residents as appropriate, alert program coordinator of medications running low, log medication monitoring activities. Provides general skills training with residents regarding chores, kitchen tasks, medication, laundry, grooming, and other daily living skills. Monitors completion of chores to ensure cleanliness of house during shift, provide assistance and training as necessary. Facilitates new resident orientation. With clinical treatment, assesses client symptomatology and assist with treatment plan. Works with social worker and case manager to document/coordinate resident schedules and needs. Coordinates and transports clients to outside appointments and personal needs. Along with treatment team, assesses client’s readiness for discharge. Assists clients in attaining treatment plan goals. Reads and understands census board/contact notes at shift change. Facilitates/leads groups and assists client in attending outside groups (site specific). Facilitates resident social interaction. Completes shift change protocol with incoming staff. Staff Supervision Assists Program Coordinator in recruiting and hiring new staff. Assists Program Coordinator in planning and implementing employee training and orientation. Provides on-going supervision for Program Assistant, Psychiatric Rehab Specialist, and Peer Support Staff in performance of their duties. Assists Program Coordinator in completing staffing schedule and processing leave time requests. Administrative Monitors use of petty cash and complete balancing and reporting. Assists Program Coordinator in the use of bus tickets and complete balancing and reporting. Orders tickets as necessary. Maintains working knowledge of budget and control spending according to budget guidelines. In conjunction with Program Coordinator, oversees shopping for food, supplies, equipment and program needs. Submits check requests and all receipts to accounting office in a timely manner. Attends and co-leads all staff/treatment team meetings. Attends agency program meetings. CSU Assistant Program Coordinator Qualifications: Bachelor's degree is preferred. One year of social service or mental health experience is required. Other: This is a full-time, 2nd shift position 3:00 PM -- 11:00 PM. Mileage reimbursement for work related travel. We are hiring a Counselor for our growing clinical team!  Our Counselors will primarily be responsible for our direct client/patient services such as performing initial assessments, diagnosis, documentation and group and individual therapy sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivers direct patient services, such as performing initial assessment, diagnosis, and documentation of each event necessary to determine placement for level of care.
  • Delivers direct patient services performing individual and group therapists sessions, and documentation of each event, as needed.
  • Effectively communicate medical necessity of services, utilizing the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) guidelines for care
  • Complete appeals process with third-party payers as needed.
  • Communicate clearly and accurately to various staff.
  • Coordinates with program administration.
  • Organizes professional development and training in diagnosis and assessment, therapy, and charting/documentation as needed.
  • Serves as a positive role model by demonstrating professional and caring attitudes and behaviors toward co-workers, patients, and guests.
  • Maintains an effective clinical organizational structure and delegate appropriate authority for completion of assigned responsibilities. 
  • Knowledge of administrative, personnel, and clinical policies and procedures, and ability to comply and communicate these clearly and accurately to staff.
  • Evaluates the impact of therapeutic interventions upon the therapeutic milieu.

Key Experience and Education Needed:

  • Graduate of an accredited college or university with a minimum of Bachelor's degree in Drug and Alcohol Counseling and/or Masters Degree in Clinical Counseling or Social Work.
  • Must hold an active professional certification/license recognized by the state of Kentucky for providing counseling services to individuals with a Substance Use Disorder Diagnosis.  Specifically, one of the following licenses: CADC, LCADC, LPCA, LPCC, CSW, LCSW, AMFT, LMFT.

Other Qualifications to be Considered:

  • Minimum of 2 years administrative and management setting familiarity, with Performance Improvement and Standards necessary.
  • Communications skills to relate to all levels of management and counseling staff.
  • Self-motivated and confident Application of Continuous Quality Improvement/Performance Improvement philosophy and ability to develop the organizational strategy.
