We contract with inspectors at a county level. This means that you would be responsible to complete all inspections in your county. In some cases, you will split the county with another inspector if there is enough volume for two inspectors. Responsibilities Most common type of inspection should only take 5-6 minutes. JOB PURPOSE: The In-Home Worker is responsible for working with families to provide family support services using designated curriculum, assistance finding mental health services and community services to assist with family’s needs. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Attend required trainings. Advocate for the best interest of the child. Ensure cases are opened and closed in a timely manner. Works with families for an approximate twelve-week time period. Staff provides flexible services to families by offering more frequent visits or extending the length of services. Meets with families for no fewer than 2 hours a week and no more than 6 hours a week. Evenings or Saturday mornings may be required. Assess the strength of the family as well as the issues requiring attention using the referral, NCFAS, and ASQ-3. All assessments must be completed within the time frames found in the Regional Guidelines. Schedule a home visit within five working days. 90 percent of in-home visits must be conducted in the child’s home. Document observations, goals and interactions during home visits. The information gathered is maintained in the case file and CCC database. CKCAC adheres to a policy of confidentiality. A confidentiality form is provided to each family, and the In-Home worker signs the form. The form is maintained in the case file, which is maintained in a secure, locked drawer. Develop written goals with the family based on results from the NCFAS and collaboration with the family. Direct the family in locating community resources. Maintain a professional relationship with parents, family members, and child(ren). Complete the Potential Safety Plan within the first 24 hours of a home visit. The plan can be updated throughout the intervention if safety becomes an issue. The plan documents the safety measures to put in place. CKCAC maintains a log in the family’s case files and maintains progress notes to document contact with the family. A Family Visit Plan that is signed by a family member is maintained in the case record. Participates in the CQI process as requested. Collect client satisfaction surveys from each family and maintain them in the case file. Develop an Aftercare Plan with each family. After the case is closed, provide follow-up contact with the family at 3, 6, and 12 months to check on the family’s wellbeing. Must fulfill any and all staff requirements in the Regional Guidelines. Other duties as assigned. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to lift from the floor to 18” above the shoulder. Vision sufficiently correctable to permit full performance of job duties. Ability to drive for travel within the service area and beyond, if necessary. Wide range of mobility. Able to perform clerical functions such as filing, labeling, stamping, stapling, and writing. Purpose/Summary The primary function is to lead and manage, with minimal input from the manager, the cross-functional APQP and launch team (90 days after SOP) in the framework of the ABC Quality Management System (QMS). The position will manage multiple programs, ensuring on-time delivery of all APQP, launch, and limited financial performance aspects associated with the project. Essential Duties/Responsibilities Overall APQP and launch responsibility," in accordance with ABC QMS and official APQP guidelines. Main conduit between Akebono manufacturing plants, the corporate facilities (AEC) and the customer in regards to APQP, launch, and delivery activities. On-site at manufacturing location, on an as needed basis to ensure APQP and launch coordination. Define, generate and manage component and sub-system timing and roll-up timing for Akebono plants, including components, suppliers and customer milestones Lead cross-functional APQP meetings, including internal and external (customer and suppliers) teams Manage and track open issues as they affect the APQP process, milestones, and deliverables Ensure "On-Time-Delivery" (OTD) and "In-Cost" (IC) of all key APQP elements, define recovery plan for late items or elements "outside of defined cost targets", and use appropriate escalation process Provide Voice of Manufacturing to customer by leading all "Program Reviews" as defined by Akebono APQP and ABC QMS. Generate and present "Program Reviews" to Executive Management (according to standard format) Manage all program elements of ABC QMS (to be reviewed upon request). Provide Business input to all associated program Change requests - CRs (approve/reject authority) until 90 days post SOP. Coordinate customer builds and Work with manufacturing and engineering to define prototype strategy. Manage the OTD of all material supply chain, capital equipment and tooling for product launch, including Process Sign-Off, PTR, and PPAP submission Manage the execution with plant PPM the Safe-Launch including manage/resolve any production delivery concerns Perform other duties as assigned Education and/or Experience (minimum required for the position) Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business (B. S.) from four-year college or university and a minimum of greater than 5 years job program management or equivalent experience directly related to foundation brake and/or friction material engineering. Familiarity with the customer product development process is necessary. Essential Knowledge, Skills, Abilities In order to manage programs successfully, apply leadership skills such as "Direction / Decision making / Team motivation / Communication / Role model for process adherence". Ability to use conventional e-mail and engineering office software (Microsoft Office Products to communicate concepts, etc.) and MS Project for timing charts software preferred. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors. Ability to represent Akebono Corporation interests in the customer's environment while maintaining a cooperative relationship with the customer.
