Job Summary

Our client, The Door Store and Windows, is seeking a motivated Outside Sales Representative to join their team in Louisville, KY.

This position focuses on new construction and high-end remodeling projects across the Louisville metro area and surrounding markets (up to 50 miles).

If you're a relationship-driven salesperson with experience in the building products industry, this is your chance to represent premium windows and doors while building long-term success.

This role is a strong fit for candidates with backgrounds in:

  • Building products sales

  • Construction sales

  • Window and door sales

  • Outside/territory sales

  • Remodeling sales

  • Account management

What You'll Do

  • Develop and grow relationships with builders, contractors, architects, and homeowners

  • Prospect for new business and manage incoming leads

  • Consult with clients to understand project needs and design tailored window and door solutions

  • Use CRM to track leads, opportunities, and communications

  • Collaborate with the sales and installation team to ensure client satisfaction

  • Attend occasional out-of-town training or industry events (a few times per year)

What We Offer

  • Base salary: $65,000–$80,000 in year one (tapers down as commission grows)

  • Commissions: Begin immediately, averaging 9–11% of sales based on gross profit margins

  • Earning potential:

    • Year two average: $90,000–$130,000+

    • Top performers: $200,000+ annually (no commission cap)

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday: 9am–5pm

  • One Saturday per month: 9am–2pm

  • Comfortable prospecting, nurturing client relationships, and closing deals

  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently while thriving in a team environment

  • Must pass a drug screen and background check
