This position will supervise daily plant operations to assure maximum output with minimum expense in a safe and orderly manner on a shift basis. Chief Ethanol is seeking a Production Coordinator to join the Chief team. This position will supervise daily plant operations to assure maximum output with minimum expense in a safe and orderly manner on a shift basis.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop new and update existing standard operating procedures (SOP's) to reflect correct and safe work procedures.
  • Train all relevant personnel in correct procedures.
  • Develop training guidelines and materials for all production positions.
  • In conjunction with Production Manager, monitor and document employee training and development.
  • Communicate plant operations updates and status to supervisor and Chief Industries staff as appropriate.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

Qualifications and Skill Requirements:

  • Five or more years' experience as a Production Operator or similar role in a Chief Ethanol Facility or other dry grind ethanol plant preferred.
  • One or more years' experience as a Production Supervisor preferred.
