Job Description
Summary
The Ecommerce Supervisor will oversee and direct all Generalist and Specialist teammates, in addition to having a variety of other responsibilities. Supervisors can perform all functions of a Generalist, as well as a variety of functions of a Specialist. Primary duty includes daily supervision for an assigned work area including unpacking, order picking and shipping. The Supervisor also serves as an escalation point for issues and proposing solutions. This role must demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness, looks for ways to improve and promote quality. The Supervisor applies feedback to improve performance and the quality of work of the team as well as their own performance.
The Teammate in this role is consistently on time for shifts and meetings. The Supervisor demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, looks for ways to improve and promote quality, applies feedback to improve performance and monitors own work to ensure quality. This Teammate must consistently meet productivity standards, complete work in timely manner and strive to increase productivity while working safely and quickly.
Special Hours Required:
Shifts are available Monday- Friday. Flexible start time with an end time of 9 p.m. Saturday: 8 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. (3 out of 4 Saturdays required per month)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Supervise assigned area on a daily basis.
- Monitor workload of assigned area and make necessary changes to optimize workflow.
- Monitor productivity and share feedback of both individual teammates and the work area in partnership with ecommerce managers.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and hardware issues and determine work-around(s) until complete.
- Escalate issues and provide communication to managers.
- Assist with opening and closing of designated areas.
- Assist with printing and processing all department orders.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- In person attendance is required to complete job duties.
- Functions performed may vary based on scheduled shift.
- Fulfill mission statement by performing job duties with a high level of customer service while contributing to a positive team spirit.
- Special projects and other duties as assigned in either distribution or online fulfillment warehouses. As determined by business need, may be required to travel from one warehouse to another during the shift.
Supervisory Responsibilities
In partnership with Assistant Managers and Managers, directly supervises Teammates in Ecommerce. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include monitoring the workload and productivity of assigned area, directing work, and making necessary changes to optimize workflow in Supervisor's designated area and/or work shift; providing feedback to the Teammates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

While performing the duties of this Job, the Teammate is regularly required to stand for up to 8 hours or more; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The Teammate is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The Teammate must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or more than 60 pounds. Teammate must be comfortable working at heights on a multilevel mezzanine and have the ability to climb multi-level of stairs on a daily basis. Also regularly required to bend, twist and turn at waist. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this Job, the Teammate is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The Teammate is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
