Primary Responsibilities HDR Engineering is in search of an experienced North Central Regional Irrigation Practice Lead to lead our irrigation practice. The primary duties of the Irrigation Practice Lead are to manage the planning and design of irrigation projects including coordination/leading project teams. This person will help drive our engagement and activities with irrigation clients across the respective region. Will work independently as well as plan organize and supervise work of medium to large teams of professionals and technicians dependent on project/task. Experience should include business development related to irrigation projects and working with irrigation districts, the Bureau of Reclamation, Army Corp of Engineers, and Natural Resources Conservation Service. Experience with the Bureau of Indian Affairs and Tribes is desired. Will be responsible for development of proposals, scopes of work, and contract cost estimates. Experience should include business development related to irrigation projects and working with irrigation districts, the Bureau of Reclamation, Army Corp of Engineers, and Natural Resources Conservation Service. Experience with the Bureau of Indian Affairs and Tribes is desired. Will be responsible for development of proposals, scopes of work, and contract cost estimates. Proven ability to mentor and supervise staff is desired.

Preferred Qualifications

A minimum of 15 years Water Resources experience, emphasis on irrigation strongly preferred.
