Drug Administration Functions Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician. Verify the identity of the resident before administering the medication/treatment. Ensure that an adequate supply of floor stock medications, supplies, and equipment is on hand to meet the nursing needs of the residents. Report needs to the Nurse Supervisor. Order prescribed medications, supplies, and equipment as necessary, and in accordance with established policies. Ensure that narcotic records are accurate for your shift. Job Description

Lincoln Surgical Hospital is an innovative healthcare leader in providing exceptional surgical services for our patients. Our dedicated physicians and staff strive to achieve optimal surgical outcomes in a patient focused atmosphere. We are looking for exceptional people to provide extraordinary care as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Hours: Full time, 72 hours per pay period (2 weeks), three 12-hour shifts each week from 5:45 am - 6:15 pm.

Self-scheduling and minimal weekend requirements (2 Fridays. 2 Saturdays, and 1 Sunday in a 6-week period).

The professional in this position will be responsible for assisting nursing staff in total patient care within the scope of their certification.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Assist patients in their daily cares.
  • Ambulate patients as instructed.
  • Position patient safely, properly and comfortably according to specific needs.
  • Take and record vital signs and report to the nurse.
  • Clean assigned area, stock and replenish supplies and equipment as required.
  • Follow standard precautions and use personal protective equipment as required.
