Comfortable completing preventative maintenance with minimal supervision. Proficient in using power and hand tools, with basic computer skills. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize. Comfortable working in a wide range of temperatures (from -20°F/-25°C in cold storage to 100°F/37°C in dry storage) with appropriate PPE. Able to lift 50 lbs./23 kgs. (more depending on facility) and work flexible schedules, including weekends if needed. Comfortable with noise, heights, and other environmental factors depending on location. Join our team and help keep our facility running smoothly! You'll work on installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment, building structures, plumbing, and electrical systems. You'll follow clear guidance from leadership while always keeping safety a top priority and following company and regulatory standards. Previous experience with ammonia refrigeration is a plus!

What You'll Do:

  • Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on machinery, equipment, refrigeration systems, building structures, and material handling equipment.

  • Maintain and troubleshoot ammonia refrigeration systems.

  • Keep accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs, and communicate updates to leadership daily.

  • Operate power tools, welding equipment, and motorized lifts safely as needed.

  • Support other tasks assigned to keep the facility running efficiently.

What We're Looking For:

  • At least 1 year of experience (or combination of experience and trade school) in maintenance, material handling, or refrigeration (ammonia, Freon, and/or CO₂).

  • Comfortable completing preventative maintenance with minimal supervision.

  • Proficient in using power and hand tools, with basic computer skills.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize.

  • Comfortable working in a wide range of temperatures (from -20°F/-25°C in cold storage to 100°F/37°C in dry storage) with appropriate PPE.

  • Able to lift 50 lbs./23 kgs. (more depending on facility) and work flexible schedules, including weekends if needed.

  • Comfortable with noise, heights, and other environmental factors depending on location.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of the facility team.
