Job Description

Job Title: Protestant Worship Leader
Location: Offutt AFB , NE 68113
Duties:
  • Lead worship music and rehearsals weekly
  • Coordinate music with the Service Chaplain
  • Recruit and manage praise team members
  • Prepare/setup sound equipment
  • Support up to 62 worship events/year (incl. special services)
  • Maintain clean, orderly performance space
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of worship leading experience
  • Skilled in singing and playing guitar or keyboard
  • Knowledge of contemporary Christian music
  • Must pass a background check and complete chapel training
Hours of Work:
  • Up to 62 units per year (1 unit = 3.5 hours)
Includes:
  • 2 rehearsals/week (~1 hour each)
  • 1 worship service/week (~1.5 hours)
  • 10 special services (e.g., Christmas, Good Friday)
  • Total not to exceed 217 hours annually
  • Schedule to be determined after contract award
