Ability to frequently stand, kneel, twist, crouch, squat, bend, stoop, and climb ladders. Ability to move throughout the store for an entire shift. Ability to safely access all areas of the store including selling floor, side lot, stock area, and register area. Make equipment adjustments, including the Turkshead and pull-through sections, to ensure tubes are round, straight, and dimensionally acceptable. Work closely with end prep and bundler teams to ensure correct tube specifications and proper setup. Manage changeovers and ensure the correct parts are used for each job. Prepare production cards, collect heat numbers and order numbers, and coordinate with MetLab to ensure samples and paperwork are accurate and submitted on time. Operate tools and equipment such as micrometers, plug gauges, ring gauges, cranes, forklifts, pi tapes, and spacers. Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure quality standards and timelines are met. Work efficiently under pressure to minimize downtime and maintain the flow of production. Required Qualifications of Every Candidate (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities) Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing or fabrication environment. Proficient in basic mathematics, including multiplication, division, addition, and subtraction, with the ability to convert between decimals and fractions. Strong knowledge of both imperial and metric measurement systems. Competent in the use of measuring tools such as tape measures, micrometers, dial indicators, radius gauges, PI tapes, and other basic shop tools.
